            We all want clean and healthy skin; there’s no doubt about that and in that respect we should only be using the best skin care products there are. Little do most people know, but not all skin care products like moisturizers and acne treatments are the same and there are certain things that separate the best from the rest. We have human cell cultures that are actually accurate and don’t require unnecessary pain and suffering. So if you want the best skin care products the first step is making sure they weren’t tested on what could be your dog’s brother.

So many skin care products contain harsh chemical additives as well as artificial fragrances, both of which can cause irritation, severe allergic reaction and in some have even been linked to cancer. Parabens, which are found in nearly every skin care and personal hygiene product on the market, have been linked to reproductive system damage in males and breast cancer in females. Many skin care companies knowingly use Parabens mainly because they are cheap, readily available and offer a long shelf life to products. Propylene Glycol is the chemical name for industrial anti freeze and is also a key ingredient in engine degreasers and brake fluid as well as being a staple ingredient in deodorants and moisturizers. Even though Propylene Glycol is a known skin irritant and has been linked to kidney and liver damage it is still found in many skin care products because it is cheap. The best skin care products are always going to be made out of the finest all natural ingredients available as to lessen the chances of irritation and negate the need for animal testing.

3. Effectiveness

Obviously you’re not going to want a product that is ineffective, but how do you know what makes a product effective? Well, you’re going to want to look for products that are made with all natural ingredients that stimulate cellular regeneration, moisturize, nourish and revitalize the skin without harmful side effects. Some of the best skin care products are made with things like stem cells harvested from apple cores and organic copper peptide based ingredients that promote healthy skin as well as reversing the signs of aging like wrinkles and puffy eyes.

            When you’re trying to find the best skin care products for you make sure you take the above information into account. Make sure that your skin is being treated the way it should be by using only the finest all natural and time honored ingredients to provide your skin with the most efficient and safest treatments.
