If you can send this around to your friends, it’d be a HUGE help! People have to know the truth about hermit crabs, and not enough people are doing much to help hermit crabs. Do it for the crabs. Pet stores sell their animals for money. They sell all their special hermit crab crap just to get a few bucks off of you. Truth is, these products will kill your hermit crab. Do not trust what pet stores tell you when it comes to animal care. Research thoroughly outside of the pet store before believing anything a pet store tells you to do. They educate their employees wrongly just to get a few extra bucks off of you. This is utterly selfish and must be stopped. Also, these animals are better off in the wild than in our homes. They will not thrive no matter how well you keep them. Please do not buy a hermit crab from a pet store. Instead, you can adopt one. Just search some Internet classifieds, newspapers, etc., and I bet you can find yourself a nice hermit crab for free.
