This episode of Animal News features John Shipe’s hit song “Pit Bull Blues” and the West Hollywood City Council passing of landmark legislation on Monday, February 1st, 2010 banning the sale of cats and dogs in pet stores unless from rescues and shelters. This law will prevent the sale of cats and dogs in West Hollywood from cruel puppy and kitten mills. The ordinance was passed unanimously by the City Council.
