We are wanting to open a pet shop in are area.
Are there any type of requirments needed or license needed for opening a pet shop? we are just wanting to sell small animals like reptiles(leopard geckos, anoles, frogs, ect.) Fish, rodents (mice, hamsters, gerbils, rats) and some birds, like parakeets and finches.
and some pet supplies. no pups or kittys. we are in missouri if that helps any…

How much time do you have? Do you like people?
The reason I ask is I thought it was a great idea for years then realised that 24/7 wasnt fun and people can be painful. My suggestion is go to pet shop outside you area(so you arent in competition) see what thay can suggest, see if they are happy and maybe they can help you directly. I live in a different country so things are different such as licencing etc.
