in the wild budgies live in a big free area. How can a cage be to big for em?

No. One bird lives in an 18x18x24 cage and 2 need an even larger space other wise they may fight over space.

There is no such thing as a cage that is too big for a parakeet or any bird. They are not betta fish. What ever bird you get, get as large a cage as you can afford.

Ive got a budgie that is in a 12 by 10 cage.we cant offord a big one.they cost like $80.00 where i live !!!!!

It depends on the wire spacing, but the larger cage is always better.
