Why does there always seem to be Border Collies in commercials for dog products or other products?

I think mostly it is because they are easy to train and a beautiful dog.

Because they’re very easy to train, popular, cute, intelligent, and recognizable.
Labs are used in commercials a lot, too. It’s because they like to work, they’re easy to train, and they look nice.
Because they are easy to train, smart, and eager to please. Border Collies are known to be able to understand and follow up to 300 commands, now that’s one smart dog. You’ve heard what they say about Border Collies, Australian Shepherds and German Shepherds. “They are great family dogs, just don’t pick one smarter than you are”.
Because border collies are AWESOME!
